HelpSome Editorial Rules to help you for directory your submissions:
To help us maintain the quality of the directory and fairplay for all those included, these rules must be strictly adhered to. Please read thoroughly before submitting new listings to the web directory. Those who submit honest, well-formatted applications will be approved faster. We make NO such guarantees for submissions that do not comply with these rules and such submissions risk rejection. 1. Do not submit third party adverts or single pages from another website. It must be your own dedicated rentals website to be listed. 2. Do not submit sites that have no direct relation to vacation rentals, most especially hotels, motels, flights or other travel sites. If it's not a vacation rental, it doesn't belong here. 3. If your site is NOT aimed solely at vacation renters, it will only be accepted where it contains a dedicated vacation rentals section. All links must go direct to such an area and should comply with all the rules on this page. 4. Do not submit sites consisting largely of affiliate links. Your website must have quality, original vacation rental information. 5. Non-English sites are accepted, however your site must have a dedicated English language section. All links must go to such a section. 6. Do not submit sites "under construction." Wait until a site is complete before submitting it. Sites that are incomplete, contain "Under Construction" notices, or contain broken graphics or links aren't good candidates for the directory. 7. The Vacation Rentals Directory has a policy against the inclusion of sites with illegal content. Examples of illegal material include child pornography; libel; material that infringes any intellectual property right; and material that specifically advocates, solicits or abets illegal activity (such as fraud or violence). 8. Always submit your site to the most appropriate category in the directory. For example, a website for vacation homes across Florida should go in the 'Florida' category rather than 'USA'. 9. Always enter the official name of the website or organisation as the title. 10. Do not use ALL CAPITAL letters. They will be removed and may slow the approval process. 11. Do not use any HTML tags in your site title, description or keywords. 12. Write in complete sentences and/or descriptive phrases using proper grammar, punctuation and correct spelling. 13. Avoid capitalizing every word in a sentence. 14. Don't repeat the title of your site in the description. 15. You may use promotional language in your site description. However try to stay objective and do not use superlatives such as "biggest", "best", "coolest", etc. Visitors will make this decision for themselves and such phrases will be removed by the editors. 16. Do not submit mirror sites. Mirror sites are sites that contain identical content, but have altogether different URLs. 17. Do not submit URLs that contain only the same or similar content as other sites you may have listed in the directory. Sites with overlapping and repetitive content are not helpful to users of the directory. Multiple submissions of the same or related sites may result in the exclusion and/or deletion of those and all affiliated sites. 18. Do not submit any site with an address that redirects to another address.
